Squeaky Clean

Squeaky Clean

I am always looking for ways to save money.  When I came across this recipe for a bathroom cleaner, I was immediately interested.  Even though I was using environmentally friendly products, they were leaving too strong a scent.  I have two children with asthma and have been using vinegar to clean my house since.

I had an epiphany while watching Oprah years back, when a guest said, “Clean doesn’t have a smell.”.  I started to become more aware that day. This is a great cleaner.  I bet you could get away with 3 ounces of dawn to 9 ounces of vinegar.  Only use full concentration for stubborn stains.  Play around with the concentration.  It works though.  I’ve tried it.

  1. Hey gals! This blog is rad. Seriously. The recipes made me hungry just reading about them and the toys made me want to play. Thanks for all the good ideas. The chore chart ideas are right up my alley. If only they had one for grown-ups! I wouldn’t mind putting $5.00 in a special jar every time I fold the laundry.
